Theatre - Cocoa

Guide for Eastern Florida State College theatre students.

Plays

In the Cocoa Campus Library individual plays are shelved on the 2nd Floor under the call number letter  "P".  Plays are classified and assigned a call number according to the nationality and name of the playwright, and are shelved along with literary criticism, fiction titles and biographies of an author.  This means you will find not only a play but also any related books (playwright biography and criticism) in one area.  Plays written by American playwrights will begin with "PS", British plays will begin with "PR", etc.

Finding a play by browsing the library stacks can be difficult since they are not all located in one place. It's a good idea to use the Library Catalog to locate a specific play.

Monologues

Print books containing monologues have call numbers beginning with PN 2080 and are shelved on the 2nd Floor of the EFSC Cocoa Library. To find books of monologes not shelved in PN 2080, perform a keyword search (use monologues as a keyword) in the Library Search.
