Evaluating resources when doing research can be a complex task. The credibility of your research project depends upon the reliability of the information you use.

This module can help you with evaluating web based and paper based materials. Refer back to Module 3, Information Types, to review the types of resources available for academic purposes.

There are no spaces in any of the link titles. The areas that seem to appear to be spaces are actually underscores (in case you are typing the links). The streaming server does not find the files if a spaces are between words.

TO CITE OR NOT TO CITE?

Remember, if you did not come up with the idea, and it is not common knowledge, then you need to cite the source.

For example, if you use a photo you found on the web in your research paper, should you cite it? Absolutely!

If uncertain about any citation requirements, ask your professor for clarification.
