If possible only include images that advance meaning.
If decorative text is used, it should be described as decorative image in the alt-text field.
Alt-text should be succinct and descriptive.
Screen readers announce images, so avoid using redundant language such as "graphic of" or "image of".
Complex images, such as graphs and charts need alt-text or descriptive captioning. Guidance for complex images is available on the Webaim.org website.
Videos must have captioning.
EFSC guidelines call for 98% accuracy of captioning.
Tables are for tabular data only, don't use them for page layout.
Tables must have row and/or column headings.
Tables must read from left to right and top to bottom.
